It took us a while to get into Infernal Dawn, mostly due to bad timing on the patch compared to our raid days. But after a couple of days of tuning strat on Warboss Drak we finally killed him today along with a couple of minibosses before it was time to call it a night.

Well done everyone!

Topic says it all! I dont really have much to add. The nerf of the encounter took some of the sweet taste out of the kill as we were already so close to killing him. But what's done is done and he died alot easier after patch.

Good job everybody and enjoy the fruit of our labor!

Server transfer was made last night, but unfortunatly somebody at some point has Origin registered on Icewatch thus forcing us to change the guildname for now. So for now atleast we are know as Origins! (just like the X-men!)

Wow, its been a long while since we had a news entry. It's not for lack of gaming but we've had a Christmas vacation and mostly trying to progress through the Akylios encounter.

But to get back to the topic at hand...we have decided to move server with our guild due to the dwindling numbers on steampike. So Wednesday evening we are moving to Icewatch where rumour has it that the fields are green and the springs are filled with salmon!

Seems the team of teens with no life have hacked trions user database.

Links should not be trusted so go to trions homepage and check for yourself

Fresh from the presses!

Inwar Darktide - Former badass found dead in Hammerknell.

Police suspect kickass Origin raiders for the kill!

Quite unsuspected that he'd turn out as easy as he did. We spent maybe 4 hours total on him which just proves that Grugonim is a bad worm!

Here's our kodak moment!

Yesterday we got our first real crack at Inquisitor Garau and with that we downed him quite quickly. Not much of a challange to speak off but still felt good to get another guild first under our belt. Biggest challange here was the mysterious adds that came at different times during the encounter without any warning. 2 whipes later we discovered that they were agro through the floor.

The rest of the evening was enjoyed whiping to the different stages on Inwar. Looks like a great fight and we knocked out the first part of the encounter so next week hopefully we get a crack and working out the kinks in the later parts

Since im at work there is no picture at this time....however

After a few weeks of struggle we finally downed Grugonim. To be honest he is the first real roadblock we have hit in a while and it was a real pleasure to finaly slay the beast!

Who would of thought that the missing link was for Karmana to fake a faulty ISP so that he could hide in the rubble around the corner and wait for us to leave. What happened after we left is not something that was a guild choose to stand for but something that Karmana himself will have to stand trial for.

Beastialty aside.... fantastic feeling to move into the upper floor of HK and whipe to some new trash (yeah it happened!)

A picture of our moment of glory!

Board is getting filled with news of our latest kills. Estrode didnt take many attempts so why should this post be any different!

We also took down Rune king for the 2nd time which is always nice....means it wasnt a fluke the first time.

And since we got an early kill on little Estrode...we ventured deeper...all the way down to Grugonim's cave!. It was such a long run most of us felt like taking a rest before we even reached him...but once there it was clear that our recent killing spree haven't left us sated.

While we didnt kill him, we got him down to about 40%, which IMO is great work. I dont think it will be long before we can toast over his dead body and all watch while Karmana do despicable things to it!

Rune King Molinar was supposed to be a true test of our mettle. Alas he turned out to be so easy i didnt even have to be there for the showdown!

Well done guys!

As expected we downed Sicaron. Id like to say it was a surprise but to be honest, it wasnt. We got him to 13% first night and just had to clean up the strats and get used to it.

Not much to add to the achivement, i believe it speaks for itself.
Gonna be fun to see how hard Rune King Molinar is tomorrow...stay tuned!

They say a picture says more than a thousand words....too bad somebody looted the corpse so we didnt get one!

But we were happy anyway! Our first time back at Matron to work on some progression on her...we downed the bitch! Was just an outstanding performance by all there. Kudos especially to the healers who atleast a few times i thought would give me a heartattack.

To those who had to sit out in favor of the better suited classes we all apreciate the sacrifice and hope that next time, you all will be with us.

Was a great victory and a quick progression so now we are looking forward to a new obstacle to overcome!

Last night we finally got our first kill on Soulrender Zilas. Hes been in the works for quite some time but we have been falling short. But last night all the practising paid off and we downed him and then easily took down Vladmal Prime shortly after.

We wasted abit of time bumping heads with Matron Zamira, but after setting our aim on Zilas we have slowly but surely gotten closer and closer to a kill. Now we are ready to go back and kick his/het/its ass which we also proved last night by doing just one run at her and it beeing our best one ever.

Gonna be a few interesting nights there now in the next few weeks.

It was truly a great feeling to down him finally, so keep up the good work everybody!

While we have not had much to report in the last month, it doesnt mean we havent been busy.

We have been literally banging our heads against several targets in Hammerknell to see where we are able to make a nice dent. Needless to say the first pick we did was....painful. However we are, after a few nights of cleaning up our execution, getting closer and closer on our 2nd Hammerknell kill.

4% last night.... our nemesis among numbers.

Wednesday failure isnt an option.

Keep kicking ass guys and we will soon have another scalp

After days of playing around with Herald and getting it just right confident and eager Origin warriors were finally at the steps of Alsbeth the Discordant. She looked down at us with pity thinking we were to be her next victims. The gauntlet was thrown and we picked it up eagerly. Alsbeth didnt know what hit her and the final obstacle to Hammerknell was beaten down.

Now as a reward for the hard work put in these last 2 nights the decision was made. The long wait was over... We were atleast going to take a look at the first boss in Hammerknell. We were short on time but we knew Murdantix didnt hide far from the entrance.

Well, we found him... and on this night...we killed what we found.

With 2 guildfirsts under our belt, we could go to rest with a smile on our face.

GREAT WORK EVERYONE!

As promised, we went in tonight(Sunday) and got our first kill of Herald Gaurath. To say that it went without effort would be a slight exageration. But... perseverance prevailed and we finaly got to dig around in the big bonepile afterwards.

Great job everyone, tomorrow we get to play with Alsbeth and hopefully down her as well. Then its off to Hammerknell!

After a halt in our progression during our planned summer break we are now back on track and working towards entering Hammerknell.

Tonight with the release of 1.4 a few of us ventured into Drowned Halls to see what it was like. Sadly it didnt prove to be much of a challange and during our first run we cleared it. Good for the extra marks but challange wise it was a let down.

On Sunday Herald shall fall and put us just 1 step away from Hammerknell!

Last night, after several nights of bumping heads, the forces of Origin finally downed Plutonus the Immortal. Putting us just one gatekeeper away from the hands of Alsbeth.

After the Immortal fell we wandered to the closest dragon we could find.
However tired soldiers dont make great dragonslayers. Herald Gaurath was ruthless and spit us out of RoS. Instead of feeding him with corpses we decided to retreat and come back another day to present the boner with a real challenge.

Last night after killing Warmaster Galenir and Prince Hylas we once again took a run at Lord Greenscale...after a rough few tries we got it together and made some serious progress.

Best run was 4%.... its only a matter of time now!

Outstanding work everybody at the raid. Few more tries and the green dragon shall fall!
